The optical smoke sensing chamber works by 'seeing' smoke as it enters the alarm ‑ making it perfect for slow burning fires where there is thick white smoke. For the fastest response to all fire types search for FireAngel Thermoptek Alarms.
Testing has been made easy with the large push button, which activates a quiet self-test so no need to disturb the whole house. A double button press will activate the full volume alarm.
The optical design makes it perfect for detecting slow burning fires quickly.
