Product Description

Bolt resistant early favourite

Ideal for early sowing with excellent bolt-resistance. Even shape with good colour, texture and flavour. Multigerm variety. Beetroot
For the earliest crops sow bolt-resistant varieties under cloches from mid-March, otherwise from April.

Recommended by Rachel de Thame in BBC Gardeners World Magazine (January 2015 edition): A real favourite with gardeners. As the name suggests, its bolt-resistant so you can sow it from early in the season until late. Has a sweet flavour. Also recommended by Charles Dowding, Matt Biggs, Jane Bingham, Rosie Yeoman, Terry Walton and Mike Thurlow

  • Sow Indoors: NA
  • Sow Outdoors: Mar - Jul
  • Flower/Harvest: Jun - Oct

What our customers say
What a fantastic family run business. They have everything you could want in the DIY and home improvement line including knowledgeable advice. I enjoy my trips there, knowing I’ll get what I want accompanied by good value. If all shops were like this the high street would be booming.
This is a little gem - anything that you might need - they will probably have it. Also I found most of the items to be reasonably priced and decent quality.
This place is the original Aladdin's cave - a huge range, everything you ever need for the house and home, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who can't do enough to help. It's a pleasure to shop there, and that comes from someone who really dislikes shopping!
