An application of 100% organic Miracle-Gro Peat Free Lawn Dressing (commonly known as ‘top dressing’) will improve the root zone of the lawn grasses, as it reduces compaction and increases aeration. It encourages increased grass root activity which will improve the lawns ability to withstand hard wear and drought conditions. The organic matter will also help to maintain an acid balance in the soil which will encourage healthy turf growth and grass to thrive.

Ideal as a lawn dressing - to establish new turf or repair damaged lawns. Miracle-Gro EverGreen Lawn Dressing Enriched Lawn Soil is the perfect blend of organic materials with sand, plus Miracle-Gro Lawn Food to encourage healthy turf growth and grass to thrive. Helps maintain acid balance in the soil which encourages healthy grass growth.

In Autumn spike the whole lawn area down to a depth of at least 8cm (3") with a garden fork. Spread the Miracle-Gro EverGreen Lawn Dressing over the lawn with the back of a rake, working it well into the surface and into the holes that have been made.

The lawn dressing should be spread evenly so that depressions are filled and no new humps are created.
Improving established lawns

Miracle-Gro EverGreen Lawn Dressing can also be incorporated into the soil when repairing worn-out areas, bare patches or damaged edges. It will help ensure the grass seed or turf establish quickly.

Miracle-Gro EverGreen Lawn Dressing can also be used as a top dressing in spring or autumn, especially after spiking or aeration, to further improve aeration and drainage and and reduce soil compaction. Miracle-Gro EverGreen Lawn Dressing can be used to fill in any hollows.
